Pets?
Unfortunately, the Battleground Village community Lux Rae Loft is located in does not allow pet in buildings. We are looking further into this, but for now, no pets are allowed.
Cancellations?
Our full cancellation policy is laid out in our terms and conditions page when you check out. We understand that unforeseen circumstances pop up and are happy to help you reschedule your shoot! You can reschedule or cancel right in your confirmation email or reach out to hello@luxraeloft.com with your cancellation request and we will give you credit for your full session to be used at a later date! We require minimum of 24 hours notice and credits expire 18 months after issued.
When do I show up/leave?
Please make sure that you book enough time to set up your photoshoot and clean it all up within the block of time you have paid for. You must be out by the end of your block of time to ensure others behind you can start their own shoot on time. There is a fee for vacating the studio after your slotted time. Please see our Terms and Conditions paged for more details.
Glitter, loose powder, or smoke bombs?
All renters are responsible for the cleanup of their shoot and to put the studio back to exactly how they found it. Unfortunately, using really hard to clean up glitter or powder may be almost impossible to clean up perfectly so for that reason, we are not currently allowing glitter, smoke bombs, or loose powders. You may make special requests if it’s something you feel like you can keep contained. Please email us at hello@luxraeloft.com
Food and Drink?
You are welcome to have food or drink, we just ask that you clean up after yourselves and you are responsible for any damage spills may cause . Must get pre-approval and may need to get license for alcohol. Please email hello@luxraeloft.com for approval and further questions.
Parking?
Parking is free convenient. There are 4 parking spots directly in front of our studio, if those are full, there is a parking lot behind and around the side of the structure.
Wifi?
We have free internet for all guests. You will receive the login information in a text the morning of your session.
Terms and conditions.
The terms and conditions contain limitations on our liability and other important provisions allowing us to provide the Studios at the price we do. It is a legal document governing your reservation and rental of the Studio so some of the language is necessarily “legalese”, but we have tried to make it as readable as possible. Reservation
Your rental time begins promptly at the designated starting time and ends promptly at the designated ending time. Reservation time must include set up, break-down, and clean up. The Studio must be cleaned and vacated by the end of the rental period to respect our fellow creative’s time and efforts. Cancelling or Changing Your Reservation You can change or cancel your Studio reservation with no additional charge at any time 3 hours before your reservation is set to begin by contacting hello@luxraeloft.com. Upon cancellation, you will receive a credit for the amount of hours booked that can be applied towards a future reservation with us. Your credit will expire 18 months from the date of the original reservation. Cancellations and rescheduling requests received within 2 hours of the start time of your reservation are not permitted.
Restrictions
• All children must be supervised at all times.
• Candles must be in holders that prevent wax from dripping on surfaces. • Fireworks (including sparklers) are prohibited.
• Nails, tacks or staples may not be used in the walls or woodwork. If tape is used, it must be painter’s tape.
• Smoking is prohibited in the Studio and within 25 feet of all building entrances, exits, windows and air take vents. Projects involving smoke machines must have our approval prior to reserving the Studio.
• No illicit drug use is permitted, and the Studio reserves the right to terminate the reservation immediately without refund if such activity occurs.
• Music or other sound must not be audible beyond the walls, doors, and windows of the Studio.
• Set up and breakdown times must fall within the total reservation period reserved. It is the responsibility of Renter and its vendors to set up, breakdown, and move equipment and other items within the Studio.
• Renter may not sublease the Studio to any third party.
• Company representatives may monitor all activities in the Studio and have the authority to enforce this Agreement. A Company representative may terminate the rental if Group breaches this Agreement or applicable local law.
Boudoir Photography
Tasteful boudoir photography is permitted with our prior permission. Please reach out to hello@luxraeloft.com to discuss. Explicit sexual activity is strictly prohibited. Please keep in mind that the Studios have large windows to allow ample light in the space. We do have changing areas and some screens for some privacy, but keep in mind other businesses and people will be around outside. You must rent the “whole space” if you want to do any type of boudoir photography in any other studio besides our Loft Studio.
Damage and Cleaning
You are responsible for any damage to the Studio including spills, scratches, excessive wear, marks or stains on furniture, fixtures, floors, or painted surfaces. The Studio and all furnishings and equipment therein must be left clean and in good condition, normal wear and tear excepted. Trash should be in trashcans, equipment returned to its proper place, and any larger trash disposed of in the outside dumpster. If the Studio is not in the same condition when rented, Renter agrees to pay, as applicable (i) a minimum of a $100 cleaning fee (based on the amount of time required to clean the Studio at a rate of $100 per hour); and (ii) the cost to repair and replace any damage done to the Studio and the furnishings and equipment therein caused the Group. Once you access the Studio, if you feel there is damage to any of the furnishings, equipment, or Studio we should be aware of, please contact us immediately.
Event Reservations
If you are booking an Event, please be sure to read the Event-specific terms in the link below and be sure to provide us with an insurance certificate 14 days prior to your Event.
Late fees
The guest that books the space will be assessed a late fee. The late fee is calculated by how many minutes past the original reservation the guest or The Group associated with the event leaves the space. The rate is $10/minute every minute past the original reservation. The card on file will be charged the late fee the following day. We appreciate you choosing Lux Rae Loft.
